This privacy policy explains how HOPE Counselling & Consultancy or ‘I’ use any personal information I collect about you when using this website.

What information is collected about you?
When you subscribe to the mailing list or contact me directly, I collect your first name and email address. Website usage is collected through cookies and may include information on your location, chosen internet browser and device. A cookie is a small piece of data that tracks your behaviour through a website. This visiting history is analysed to optimise your content and reading experience. You can turn off the use of cookies at anytime by changing your specific browser settings.

Why I need your data
I collect information about you to complete your request to email you about blogs, services and products that I think may be of interest to you. I may also contact you directly to evaluate my services. I do not share personal information with third parties.

How long do I store your data?
Information kept for the mailing list subscription (used to market blogs, services and products) will be kept until you unsubscribe. This can be done by pressing the ‘unsubscribe from this list’ button at the bottom of any of my emails.

If I provide paid services to you, I am required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years, after which it will be destroyed.

What are your rights?
You have a right to request a copy of the information I have about you. If you would like a copy, please email me at hopebsleeds@gmail.com.

If you are not happy with my response or believe I am not processing your personal data in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
